It was a fun day yesterday in Baxter Ontario with a small gang of Shiloh's all working on their Herding Instinct Test. It is amazing to see these beautiful dogs doing what they were intended to -- all from instinct alone.
In alphabetical order the following Shilohs earned their HIT classification:
-Brooklyn
-Cinder
-Paris
-Tracker
-Vienna
Also, just visiting were puppies Matilda and Sapphira.
MOST participants were able to enjoy the test during a beautiful sunny but very warm afternoon. Poor Vienna with Kevin, and Brooklyn with Dave however were not quite so lucky - thunderstorms rolled in an made for a VERY wet end to the day.
Gunner is the proud pop to all five recipients. Dave tells us he received an extra piece of meat with his dinner last night - perhaps they were serving lamb.
